Awami National Party(ANP) Provincial Council member and former candidate for provincial assembly seats Muhammad Idrees Bacha welcomes Pak Afghan negotiation and said that the security challenges faced by Pakistan as a result India and Afghanistan nexus appear to be part of a coordinated regional plan.
He said that Pakistan is facing attacks and provocations at a time when the Afghan interim foreign minister not only made anti-Pakistan statements during his visit to India but also recognized Kashmir as a part of India.
He said this exposing a coordinated plan between Kabul and Delhi aimed at destabilizing Pakistan through undeclared war, propaganda and diplomatic pressure. This plan is influenced by elements in the region who want to promote instability in South Asia.
The dangerous aspects of this cooperation include the misuse of Afghan soil: Pakistan has long maintained that Afghan soil is being used against Pakistan and terrorism emanating from there is supported by India.
The Afghan interim government’s growing collusion with elements of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is further weakening the relationship of trust between the two countries.
