ISLAMABAD: Meer Zaman Samalani Baloch, a Baloch community member from Mach, has returned home after being missing for nearly two years.
The Meer Zaman Baloch Samalani son of Shah Zaman Samalani Baloch was not heard from the afternoon of February 4, 2024. He returned on December 29, 2025, bringing a great deal of relief to his family and friends after having been gone for 1 year and 10 months.
The Commission has been informed about his return, and the case is set to be officially closed at the next specific hearing.
This marks the 7th person case recognized, who had gone missing but returned home in December 2025, which indicates the pattern of increasing recovery of missing persons. The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has indeed corroborated the announcement through its official social media accounts thus adding further confirmation of the matter.
The return of Meer Zaman Samalani Baloch is another reason for the families of the missing persons in the region to have hope and it is also an encouragement to the families to continue their demands for more attention to this issue.
