ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir NI (M) HJ has said that Allah Almighty has bestowed upon Pakistan the honour of being the guardians of the two holy mosques among all Muslim countries.

Addressing the National Ulema and Mashaikh Conference held in Islamabad on Wednesday, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that the scholars should keep the nation united and expand the vision of the nation.
The Field Marshal added, “There is a deep connection between the State of Tayyiba and the State of Pakistan. The defence agreement with Saudi Arabia is of historical importance. Allah Almighty has bestowed upon Pakistan the honour of being the guardian of the two holy mosques among all Muslim countries”.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that honour and power are not achieved through division but through hard work and knowledge.
The Field Marshal clarified that in an Islamic state, no individual except the state can order jihad.
He said that victory in the battle for truth was achieved with the help of Allah, Pakistan will always live long.
