WANA: All students and faculty members have been safely rescued from Wana Cadet College following a two-day operation that began after a militant attack on the college.
According to sources, security forces evacuated the students and staff of Wana Cadet College to safer locations as the operation concluded. Security sources reported that militants attacked the college on Monday.
Latest video footage from Cadet College Wana shows security forces rescuing children. So far, 350 individuals have been safely rescued. The operation by security forces is concluded with great caution and strategy.
The Inspector General of the Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South is personally monitoring the operation at the Cadet College. At least three terrorists were shot down on Tuesday. Three people were also martyred in the attack.

Security forces’ operation against three Khawarij is still underway in Wana Cadet College as the terrorist elements are still in contact with Afghan-based Taliban handlers to carry out attacks.
Security sources said that three Khawarij inside are said to be from Afghanistan – these people are constantly taking instructions from Afghanistan on the telephone. The Khawarij are hiding in a building that is far away from the cadets’ residence. The clearance of the building is being carried out with great skill so that the lives of the cadets can be made safe.
It should be noted that on November 10, an Afghan Khawarij had rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives at the main gate of the college. The explosion demolished the main gate of the college, and nearby buildings were also damaged. Security sources
