A total of 39,981 candidates will participate in the MDCAT test 2025, organized by Khyber Medical University(KMU). Strict security, a modern monitoring system, and Section 144 will be implemented to ensure exam transparency. The MD CAT 2025 examination under the supervision of Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar will be held simultaneously in seven districts of the province – Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Lower Dir, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Abbottabad – on October 26, 2025, in which a total of 39,981 candidates will participate.

According to the details, all arrangements have been completed for the peaceful, transparent, and effective conduct of MD CAT. The security and administrative plan is being fully implemented in collaboration with the district administration, police, FIA, IB, Special Branch, and other relevant agencies.

In order to maintain traffic flow around the examination centres in Peshawar, the BRT service hours will start exclusively from 6 am so that candidates can reach the examination centres on time. To ensure transparency during the examination, students have been instructed to come to the examination centre with empty pockets and not bring any jewellery, wallet, money, or irrelevant items with them.

The candidate should only have his/her identity card, Form-B (if there is no identity card), and roll number slip. There is a strict ban on bringing mobile phones, smart watches, earbuds, calculators, or any kind of electronic devices into the examination centres.

Hidden cameras, mobile jammers, walk-through gates, scanners, and monitoring devices have been installed in all examination centres to prevent any illegal electronic activity or attempt at copying. KMU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Haq has said that all the institutions are working in complete coordination for the transparent and peaceful conduct of MD CAT 2025. Strict action will be taken against any illegal act or disorder during the examination.

He appealed to the parents and students to fully follow the examination rules and regulations and demonstrate discipline during the examination so that the examination can be conducted in an honest and transparent environment. Parents should avoid any illegal access or assistance in the examination of their children.

All the students have been instructed to print their roll number slip and bring it with them; otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the examination centres. If any candidate faces any problem in downloading the roll number slip, they should contact the KMU helpline. The exact address of the examination centre is mentioned on the roll number slip, so candidates should check it carefully and reach the same centre on time. It is mandatory to reach the examination centre on time as the gates will be closed after the scheduled time.

Parents have been asked to drop their children off near the centre instead of taking them inside the examination centre. Section 144 will be imposed around the examination centres, and no unauthorized person or vehicle will be allowed to park. Candidates using BRT in Peshawar have been instructed to come to the examination centre on foot from the nearest stop. If any candidate is found with any prohibited items that may aid in the examination, his/her examination will be immediately cancelled, an FIR will be registered against him/her, and no further MD CAT will be allowed.

Sick or disabled candidates should inform the administration about their condition before the examination so that appropriate facilities can be provided to them. Due to security concerns, parents and guardians will not be allowed inside the examination centres. All candidates have been instructed not to leave the examination centre before 1:30 PM.
