ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police Ali Nasir Rizvi has said that the situation in the federal capital is completely normal following recent protests, adding that all roads and areas are functioning as usual.
In an exclusive interview, the IG stated that protesters have returned to their homes, and routine life has resumed across the city. He noted that citizens are busy with their daily activities, including preparations for iftar, while law enforcement agencies remain on alert.
“Thank God, all areas are completely normal,” he said, adding that the police are maintaining vigilance to ensure peace, security and uninterrupted daily operations in the capital.
The police chief emphasised that security measures remain in place as a precaution to safeguard public order.
