ISLAMABAD: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur has acknowledged that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has completely failed, saying all party members share responsibility for the setback.

Speaking about the party’s internal situation, he said PTI leaders were engaged in mutual blame game, adding that even meetings with the party’s founder were becoming increasingly difficult.

Ali Amin Gandapur questioned why arrangements were not being made for leaders to meet PTI founder Imran Khan, terming the reluctance a sign of stubbornness and doubt.

He further claimed that those who met the PTI founder narrated strange stories, saying there was uncertainty over information regarding his health.

According to Gandapur, some were being told that the leadership had turned disloyal and that party members were ready to quit.

Praying for the PTI founder’s good health, the former chief minister stressed that responsibility for the party’s failure rested with all.

He underscored the need for a united and stable leadership to help PTI regain public confidence.
