‎PTI leader Ahmed Niazi, who hails from Punjab, is being accused of trying to incite Khyber Pakhtunkhwa workers against the provincial leadership, ministers and the Chief Minister himself

‎Azad Digital Peshawar Bureau Chief Irfan Khan in his report said about the current political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the internal differences within the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in his recent program.

‎According to Irfan Khan Ahmed Niazi is accused of creating an impression among the workers that the provincial leadership is taking a soft approach towards the “powerful circles” and is not strictly following the narrative of the founder PTI.

‎This situation has created a rift between provincial ministers and workers, which seems to be weakening the government’s grip.

‎The vlog states that after the failure of the recent protest, the PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has started blaming each other.

‎Several ministers believe that the provincial organization failed in planning the protest and showed indifference in mobilizing the workers.

‎ On the other hand, the workers allege that the ministers limited themselves to statements instead of taking to the field, due to which the protest could not prove effective.

‎Irfan Khan has reported that this political tug-of-war has created a situation of “earthquake” within the provincial government:

‎ There is an atmosphere of uncertainty in the Chief Minister’s House and the provincial secretariat.

There is also a division among the provincial ministers regarding the contacts between the powerful circles and the central leadership of the PTI, which is affecting administrative matters.

‎According to the report, if the provincial leadership does not immediately stop the interference of “external factors” (Punjab leadership) like Ahmed Niazi and does not address the concerns of the workers, the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may face a serious political crisis.
