MUMBAI: Famous Indian actress Hansika Motwani has finally divorced businessman Sohail Khaturia after four years of marriage. This has been confirmed by the Mumbai Bandra Family Court, which has approved the mutual divorce between the two, with the terms of the divorce being agreed upon by the two.
According to reports, the two had been living apart since 2025, with Hansika staying with her mother and Sohail staying with his family. The terms of the divorce settlement between the two were reached through peaceful negotiations.
Hansika removed all her wedding photos from Instagram after her divorce while she stopped following Sohail and changed her Instagram name. Sohail followed through with his decision to stop following Hansika while he made his Instagram account private.
Hansika announced her birthday thoughts through an Instagram post which she declared as follows This year has taught me lessons I never asked for and given me strength I never imagined. But now my heart is at peace and my soul is calm.
Hansika and Sohail tied the knot on December 4, 2022, at the historic Mandota Fort in Jaipur. Sohail had proposed to Hansika at the Eiffel Tower in Paris during that year.
The relationship developed some problems before their wedding because Sohail’s former spouse Rinki Bajaj happened to be one of Hansika’s close friends. Social media users targeted old videos of Hansika who emerged as a public figure through her work in Indian film. Sohail had clarified that Hansika had no role in the breakdown of his first marriage.
