ABBOTTABAD: The District Administration of Abbottabad has imposed Section 144 on the purchase, sale, and use of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

This decision comes in response to incidents involving drones flying near sensitive installations and public areas in Abbottabad, which may pose a threat to public safety and security.

To address these law and order concerns, Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram has implemented a complete ban on the purchase, sale, use, and operation of drones and other UAVs within the Abbottabad district.

This ban is effective immediately and will remain in place for two months.

Those who violate this ban will face strict legal action and penalties under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
