Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central General Secretary Salman Akram Raja said that the allegations levelled against PTI were totally baseless and a single party could not be blamed for terrorism in the country.
While holding a press conference in Peshawar, he said that we stand with our martyrs, the roots of terrorism are very deep, and the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been bleeding for 40 years. Salman Akram Raja said that we know that terrorism is not the product of a day, PTI is the well-wishers of Pakistan, and its voices need to be listened to. PTI leader said that one could break the constitution and law, but PTI could not get the money from the NFC award. The purpose of the change is a new beginning.
He said that governance has to be improved in this province. Today, it is being said that Governor’s rule will be imposed, but it will not happen at all. Did PTI let terrorists into the province? They said that there is no basis for the allegations made yesterday. He said that a comprehensive strategy should be made, so that innocent people who are martyred in operations should not be killed.
Addressing the occasion, Juned Akbar, Provincial President of PTI, said that the change in KP was PTI’s constitutional right, and that is why Ali Amin followed the leadership’s decision. He said that Sohail Afridi will form the best team and hoped that they would resolve all issues facing the province. He said that the federal government is obstructing constitutional requirements, and they are holding the funds of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to keep the province backward and underdeveloped. He appealed to the government to come and sit with PTI to resolve all the pending issues facing the country.
