MUMBAI: On his 60th birthday, not in a very usual manner but on social media, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan apologized to fans for not being able to meet them.
In a heartfelt post on X (Twitter), Khan said that police had prevented him from going out to meet the fans who were waiting for him. “I am sorry to all of you,” he stated. “This decision was made for the safety of everyone.”

The Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, was indeed quite fortunate to have so many fans that it turned into a sea of people. But the actor could not come out on the balcony because of the security problems and so, as it happens every year on his birthday, he did not get to meet them.
