SWAT: On the direction of the deputy commissioner, Swat, Sleem Jan Marwat, the municipal authorities removed speed breakers from the tourist destination Malam Jabba road on Sunday. The initiative aims to facilitate tourists travelling in the area.

According to a statement issued by the Swat administration, illegal speed breakers have been removed from the Malam Jabba road.

The initiative aims to ensure that tourists can travel smoothly, securely, and comfortably. The statement emphasised that following the “Good Governance Road Map” outlined by the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the specific instructions of Deputy Commissioner Swat Saleem Jan Marwat, effective actions were taken on the Main Malam Jabba Road. This included the removal of illegal speed breakers and addressing any factors obstructing traffic flow.

Assistant Commissioner Charbagh, Munir Khan Halimzai, oversaw the removal of these illegal speed breakers, clearing the road to facilitate safe and convenient travel for both tourists and the public. Furthermore, strict measures will be implemented against anyone who attempts to install speed breakers again.
