President of the United Naanbai Association, Aftab Aslam Gul said that Prices of Naan and yeast bread increased by Rs 05 in Punjab.
He said that the price of naan and yeast bread has increased due to the increase in the price of fine flour.
According to Aftab Aslam Gul, the price of a sack of fine flour has increased from Rs 4,500 to Rs 5,000. The Punjab government says that it has nothing to do with the increase in the price of fine flour, so we have increased the price of naan and yeast bread by Rs 5. They say that they are still selling plain bread for Rs. 14. If fine flour is provided at the old price, they will also reduce the price of naan and Khemri bread.
