Japanese company Fujitsu has introduced a laptop called FMVUXK3, which weight just 634 grams without a charger.
Previously, the world’s lightest laptops were also developed by the same company. One of which is the 2022 WUXG2 and the other is the 2024 WU5J3, which also weight 634 grams. Various materials have been used to keep the weight of this new laptop low. Its top panel is made of carbon fiber, while magnesium lithium has been used for the keyboard and base.Despite its light weight, care has been taken in the preparation of the laptop so that it does not get damaged during normal use.
The charger of this laptop also weighs only 151 grams, while the chargers of previous laptops weighed 280 grams. This laptop has an Intel Core Ultra 7, 255U processor, while the Artificial Intelligence Engine will also be available to users. The device has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, while its display will be 14 inches. Wireless connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth version 5.4 will be available to users, while USB Type C, USB Type A, HDMI ports, and a micro SD slot will also be available.
The laptop design also includes a Windows Hello fingerprint sensor, while a privacy shutter for the webcam has also been provided. According to the company, the laptop’s battery will be able to work for 7 hours when playing videos continuously and can be operated for 18 hours under normal use. Its price is set at 1863 dollars.
