PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department has withdrawn the transfer and adjustment orders of 21 officials in BPS-16 and directed them to return to their original postings.
According to an office order issued by the Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education on October 19, 2026, the decision reverses an earlier order dated October 15, 2026, concerning the officials listed at serial numbers 1 to 21.
The directorate stated that the transfers back to the officials’ original stations had been ordered in the best interest of public service.
The affected officials include Assistant District Education Officers (ADEOs), Assistant Sub-Divisional Education Officers (ASDEOs) and Secondary School Teachers (SSTs), including personnel associated with planning and development, sports, secondary education and general teaching.
The officials are posted across several districts, including Upper Dir, Swabi, Dera Ismail Khan, Lower Dir, Tank and Bannu. The revised arrangements cover postings at district education offices, sub-divisional education offices and government schools.
The order was issued by the Director of Elementary and Secondary Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, with copies forwarded to the relevant district education officers, district account officers and concerned officials for information and necessary action.
