PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has strongly responded to JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, raising serious questions over his politics and double standards.
”If Governor Raj is haram, then was supporting LFO halal?” Governor Kundi questioned.
He said, “You were allotted land of Army and martyrs, is that halal? Whatever comes to Maulana is halal, whatever goes to others is haram.”
The Governor asked Maulana to clarify, “Tell us what minerals are there in Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and Tank?”
He said the districts where minerals exist, they are meant to be extracted so that prosperity comes to those areas.
”Maulana does not want minerals to be extracted and the lives of the people there to become prosperous, because then people will not support illiterate mullahs,” he added.
Kundi said, “Mullahs themselves sit in palaces and tell the poor’s children to do jihad.”
He further stated, “Maulana himself has said that without him government is not formed, and if formed, it does not run, but this Governor Raj has been formed without him and will run as well.”
