PESHAWAR: American electric car company Tesla has unveiled a stunning glimpse of its next-generation sports car, the Roadster, once again bringing the concept of flying cars into the spotlight.

According to the report, the new Roadster was demonstrated at a SpaceX testing facility in Texas.

In the demonstration, the car was shown launching off a curved ramp, performing a mid-air somersault, and then landing safely back on the ground. The demo was conducted without a driver to avoid any risk to human life in case of a potential accident.

Elon Musk shared a video of the demonstration on social media platform X, writing that it seems there really will be flying cars in the future.

Tesla’s Vice President of Vehicle Engineering, Lars Moravy, also commented on the technology, saying that flying cars are a reality.0 to 97 km/h in less than a second?

The report claims that the next-generation Tesla Roadster could be capable of accelerating from zero to 60 miles per hour, or about 97 kilometers per hour, in less than one second.

After the demonstration, Elon Musk said that the car performed successfully, but he also warned that the success of this technology cannot be guaranteed.

According to Tesla, the plan is to use SpaceX-related technology in a special version of the Roadster. This system includes cold gas thrusters, which can push the car upward or forward through force generated by gas pressure.

The company claims that this technology can take the car’s performance to a new level. In the special version, thrusters installed around the sides of the car can help with not only forward and upward movement but also rotational maneuvers.

The use of this technology on public roads has not been approved, so the car’s demonstration of lifting into the air should not be considered a regular flight of a road-legal car. Production Planned to Start in 2028 According to Elon Musk, production of the new generation Tesla Roadster is planned to start in 2028.
