PESHAWAR: Flour prices have recorded a significant decline in Peshawar following the restoration of supplies, bringing some relief to consumers in the provincial capital.
According to the Flour Dealers Association, the price of a 20-kilogram bag of mixed flour has dropped by Rs400, from Rs3,400 to Rs3,000.
Dealers attributed the recent price reduction to an improvement in flour supplies across the local market.
Previously, disruptions in supply had pushed flour prices higher, causing difficulties for residents struggling with rising household expenses.
The restoration of supplies and the subsequent decline in prices are expected to provide some relief to household consumers.
However, the stability of flour prices will depend on the continued and uninterrupted availability of supplies in the market.
