MARDAN:Led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Sohail Afridi, long march to pass through several areas of Charsadda

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march entered its seventh day on Saturday, with participants resuming their journey from Razar Ground in Charsadda after arriving from Peshawar the previous night.

The march, led by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, is scheduled to pass through several localities in Charsadda before reaching Mardan, where participants will spend the night ahead of their planned departure for Swabi on October 11.

After leaving Peshawar, the PTI long march reached Charsadda last night and passed through Shabqadar tehsil before participants settled at Razar Ground in Tehsil Charsadda for an overnight stay.

The march will resume its journey today, passing through Tangi, Sardheri and other areas of Charsadda as participants continue their planned route.

According to the schedule, the procession is expected to reach Mardan later in the day. After an overnight stay there, the march will proceed towards Swabi on October 11.

Since beginning its journey, the PTI long march has made stops in Lakki Marwat, Karak, Kohat, Peshawar, Khyber and Charsadda.

The march’s schedule has been revised twice during this period, resulting in changes to its planned route and stops.

Despite the adjustments, the procession continues to move through different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the party pursues its demands concerning its founding chairman

PTI launched the long march from Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on October 4 to press for several demands related to its founding chairman Imran Khan. The party is seeking meetings with its incarcerated founder, access to medical treatment for him and the commencement of hearings for his cases in the higher courts.

The ongoing march is intended to draw attention to these demands as participants travel through different districts of the province.

With Mardan next on the itinerary, the procession is expected to continue towards Swabi on October 11, following its latest schedule.
