PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court(PHC) extends protective bail of Sheikh Waqas and Naeem Panjutha in different cases and barred the police from arresting them.

Hearing on the applications of Sheikh Waqas Akram and Naeem Haider Panjuta, Justice Arshad Ali and Justice Waqar Ahmad sorted details of the cases against the accused persons. The petitioner requested the court to extend their bail in various cases registered against them by the federal government. The court extended the protective bail of Sheikh Waqas Akram and Naeem Haider Panjutha. The court ordered that Sheikh Waqas Akram and Naeem Haider Panjuta be brought in the cases registered against them.

Various cases are registered against the petitioners, the petitioner’s lawyer said that there is a fear of arrest, and protective bail should be given to the petitioner. The court issued notices to the parties and sought details of the petitioners’ cases. There are several cases against PTI leaders and Lawyers, and they are frequently visiting to Peshawar High Court to seek protective bail.
