ISLAMABAD: The government has increased the price of petrol while reducing the price of high-speed diesel under its daily petroleum pricing mechanism.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been raised by Rs1.82 per litre, taking the new price to Rs396.65 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by 91 paisas per litre, bringing its new price to Rs394.94 per litre.
The revised prices will take effect on October 8.
The adjustment has been made to ex-depot petroleum prices under the government’s petroleum pricing mechanism.
