KP Sets October 31 Deadline to Complete 2025-26 Education Recruitment

Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department has directed all districts to complete the recruitment process for the 2025-26 academic year by October 31, 2026.

The Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education issued instructions to all District Education Officers (DEOs), both male and female, to ensure that the pending recruitment process is completed within the stipulated deadline.

According to a departmental letter, delays in recruitment in some districts have caused concern among candidates and could affect the timely provision of teaching staff to educational institutions.

The department directed all DEOs to complete pending appointments in accordance with the approved Recruitment Policy of July 19, 2024, and other relevant legal requirements.

The letter also stated that where a candidate’s recruitment case is currently pending before a court, an appointment order may be issued subject to the final decision of the court.

Meanwhile, the department said the issue concerning the merit list of Phase-II candidates under the 49-30 reduced-merit category has been taken up with the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA).

The concerned District Education Officers will be informed about any developments regarding the matter, the department said.

The Education Department has made it clear that the recruitment process for the 2025-26 academic year must be completed in all districts by October 31, 2026 without fail.
