For the current month of September, the price of the LPG cylinder was Rs 3,052.09. According to OGRA, the new prices will be applicable from October 1, 2026. The increase for LPG consumers is approximately 8 percent. LPG prices in Pakistan are revised on a monthly basis by OGRA in line with international prices of LPG and the exchange rate of the dollar.
LPG is widely used in areas where natural gas is not available, as well as for domestic and commercial consumers across the country. In recent months, LPG prices have seen a fluctuating trend due to rising international market rates and devaluation pressures. The current increase comes at a time when inflation is already affecting household budgets, and winter demand for LPG is expected to rise.
