ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has summoned Afghanistan’s ambassador, Sardar Ahmad Shakib, and conveyed a formal protest over an alleged violation of Pakistani airspace, the Foreign Office said.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, a demarche was issued to the Afghan authorities over the violation.
The protest relates to a drone incident reported on September 23, with Pakistan formally conveying its concerns to the Afghan side.
The Foreign Office said the demarche was delivered to the Afghan authorities on the previous day, reiterating Pakistan’s protest over the alleged violation of its airspace.
