ISLAMABAD: Pakistani boxer Usman Wazeer has won his 19th international world-ranking fight, defeating an Indonesian boxer in Thailand and qualifying for the WBA Gold title fight.
Following his victory, Wazeer dedicated the win to the Commander Peshawar, the Pakistan Army, police personnel, and the martyrs who lost their lives in acts of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“I dedicate this victory to the Pakistan Armed Forces, police personnel, and those who were martyred in terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” Wazeer said.
The boxer also thanked the Pakistan Army for its continued support throughout his career. He said the date and details of his WBA Gold title fight would be announced soon.
Wazeer added that he would aim to secure another victory in his 20th fight for Pakistan.
