CHARSADDA: A dispute over mobile messages turned into a bloody clash in Amir Abad area under the jurisdiction of Mandani Police Station, Charsadda.
According to details reported by Nasrullah Khattak, an argument between two groups over mobile messages escalated into armed clash. Both sides opened fire at each other.
As a result, two persons died on the spot while seven others including a woman were injured. The injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Charsadda where condition of two is stated to be critical.
Mandani police reached the spot, collected evidence and started investigation. Police said the clash was a result of old enmity which intensified after exchange of messages on mobile phone.
A case has been registered and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
