NEW YORK: Global Digital Identity and Digital Public Infrastructure expert and former chairman of NADRA, Tariq Malik has been named among the DPI 50, a new global list recognizing 50 leaders contributing to the development and responsible use of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) worldwide.
The recognition was announced in New York on the sidelines of meetings of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The DPI 50 was launched by Apolitical in collaboration with the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on GovTech and Digital Public Infrastructure. The initiative highlights leaders working to develop digital infrastructure that is inclusive, trusted and capable of delivering public value.
Malik’s inclusion in the list marks his second major global recognition in 2026.
Earlier this year, he was named to Okta’s Identity 25, a list recognizing 25 leaders and innovators helping shape the future of digital identity.
The latest recognition further highlights Malik’s work and contributions to the global digital identity and public infrastructure landscape.
