PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shafi Jan, while reacting strongly to Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s press conference, said that Mohsin Naqvi should not turn the funerals of martyrs into a subject of political rhetoric.
Using the funerals of martyrs for political point-scoring is deeply regrettable, and the federal ministers’ frequent press conferences reveal their intense fear of the PTI’s long march. When federal ministers speak about the law, they should also remember the fundamental rights of the public enshrined in the Constitution.

“We will not be intimidated by the federal government’s threats,” Shafi Jan said. The ‘Form 47’ government should remember that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has long been facing state oppression and tyranny.
If the federal government does not fear the long march, why has Islamabad already been turned into a “container city”? Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will never relinquish its constitutional and democratic rights, Shafi Jan said. The protest on September 27 is our constitutional right; it cannot be stopped by threats and intimidation.
