LAHORE: The Punjab Police has significantly increased educational stipends for children of its employees, particularly those with autism, on the directives of Inspector General of Police Rao Abdul Karim.

The stipend for children of police employees has been raised from Rs30,000 to Rs75,000, according to a Punjab Police spokesperson.

IG Rao Abdul Karim said the welfare of police employees and their families remains a top priority. He added that such initiatives are aimed at providing employees’ children with better educational and developmental opportunities.

The increase is part of the Punjab Police’s efforts to support the welfare and educational needs of its personnel and their families.
