ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products have been reduced marginally, with the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issuing a notification announcing the new rates.

According to the notification, the price of petrol has been cut by Rs 0.58 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs 342.02 per litre.

The price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has also been reduced by Rs 0.17 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs 371.44 per litre.

The revised prices will come into effect from midnight tonight, according to the notification.

The reduction comes as a minor relief for consumers amid persistently high fuel prices.
