PESHAWAR: Spokesperson Governor House Khyber Pakhtunkhwa confirmed receiving the resignation of outgoing Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in hand writing and an aknowldegment receipt was handed over to Chief Minster house.

Handwritten resignation of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from his post was formally received by the Governor House at 2:30 pm today and its receipt has also been confirmed.

The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi  said that after examining the resignation and fulfilling the legal requirements in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan and relevant laws, the resignation of the Chief Minister will be implemented under the constitutional procedure.

The Governor KP further said that the Governor House will proceed with the matter in a transparent and orderly manner, keeping in mind all constitutional and legal requirements.
