PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced a series of transfers and postings of senior provincial officers, with the Establishment and Human Resource Management Department issuing separate notifications.
According to the notifications, Muhammad Shiraz (PMS, BS-19), Additional Secretary in the Science and Technology and Information Technology Department, has been transferred with immediate effect and appointed as the new Director General of the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA).
His appointment follows the removal of former KDA Director General Rehmat Ali (PMS, BS-18), who has been directed to report to the Human Resource Management Department.
Meanwhile, changes have also been made in the Fisheries Department in light of a decision by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal.
Under the notification, Senior Director Fisheries Muhammad Shafi Marwat (BPS-20) has been promoted and appointed as Director General Fisheries, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Former Director General Fisheries Zubair Ali (BPS-20) has been posted as Senior Director Fisheries in his place.
The Establishment and Human Resource Management Department said all the transfers, postings and appointments will take effect immediately.
KP Announces Major Transfers and Postings, Notification Issued
Similarly, on Thursday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Labour Department has issued a notification ordering the immediate transfer and posting of 13 officers and officials across the province.
According to the notification, Assistant Director Kashmala Iqbal has been transferred from Charsadda Road, Peshawar, to Hayatabad Commercial, while Assistant Director Mudassar Ahmed has been moved from the Registration Section at the department’s head office to Charsadda Road, Peshawar.
Assistant Director Kaleemullah has been transferred from University Road, Peshawar, to Abbottabad. Assistant Directors Noor Muhammad and Fawad Siddiqui have been transferred from Industrial Estate Hattar and posted at University Road, Peshawar, and Peshawar City, respectively.
Assistant Director Mamoon Zafar has been transferred from Peshawar City and posted as Assistant Director (Admin) at the department’s head office in Peshawar.
Assistant Director Baseerullah has been transferred from Buner to Warsak Road, Peshawar.
The notification further states that Assistant Sajid Ali Khan has been transferred from the post of Assistant Director (Admin) (OPS) at the head office to Assistant Director (OPS), Industrial Estate Hattar.
Assistant Zafar Ali has been transferred from the Pay Office Swat to Assistant Director (OPS), Buner, while Assistant Wadood Shah has been moved from PA to Director Admin at the head office to Assistant Director (OPS), Mohmand.
Assistant Abdul Qayum has been transferred from the Pay Office Bannu and posted as Assistant Director (OPS), Karak.
Meanwhile, Assistant Muhammad Abid, who had been performing duties as Assistant Director (OPS) against a vacant post in Abbottabad, has been transferred to District Khyber in the same capacity.
Computer Operator Masoodur Rehman has also been assigned additional charge of Assistant Director (OPS), Registration Section, at the Labour Department’s head office in Peshawar.
The notification stated that all transfers and postings would take effect immediately.
