The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a special registration campaign to facilitate members of minority communities across Pakistan.

The campaign, being held from August 10 to 13 in connection with National Minorities Day, includes dedicated teams travelling with mobile registration vans to areas with significant minority populations.

The teams are providing identity-related services closer to residents homes, enabling members of minority communities to obtain or update their legal identity documents without having to travel long distances.

NADRA has urged members of minority communities to make use of the services being offered by the teams visiting their areas and ensure that their legal identity records are up to date.

The mobile registration vans are also equipped with iris-scanning facilities. NADRA has encouraged all citizens to take advantage of the facility and have their iris scans registered without any additional fee.
