MIRANSHAH: The district administration of North Waziristan has announced a curfew across the district on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in view of the movement of security forces.
According to a public notice issued by the administration, security forces’ movement is expected from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday. Strict security arrangements will be in place during these hours.
The administration has urged the public to limit their daily activities during the specified time and to fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies. The step has been taken to prevent any untoward incident and to maintain peace and order in the area.
In addition, the administration clarified that the night-time restrictions will remain in effect as usual. Under this, there will be a complete ban on public movement from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM.
Residents have been instructed to strictly follow the orders and avoid unnecessary travel outside to prevent any legal action or inconvenience.
The district administration appealed to locals to abide by government directives to ensure the safety of citizens during the security operation.
