PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Meteorological Department and regional weather agencies forecast humid conditions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today, with light rain and thunderstorms likely in parts of the province on Saturday and Sunday.
According to the latest forecast, Friday, August 7, will remain mostly cloudy and across KP. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 33°C to 35°C, while minimums will stay around 25°C to 27°C.In Peshawar, the high will reach 34°C and the low 25°C.
In southern districts temperatures may climb to 35°C.For afternoon Saturday, August 8, is expected to rain with thunderstorm. Weather models show light rain and AM thunderstorms in several areas of KP.
The maximum temperature will hover around 34°C to 37°C. In Peshawar, the forecast is 27°C to 34°C with chances of rain. Humidity will remain high at around 70-78%, and winds will be light to moderate from the north at 2-3.5 m/s. Sunrise is at 5:30 AM and sunset at 7:09 PM today.
Authorities have urged citizens to take precautions against to stay alert for possible rain-related disruptions tomorrow, especially in low-lying areas.
