MOHMAND: Young vendor Ismail, son of Zaleem Khan, died in a tragic traffic accident that occurred in the mines of Ziarat Marble Mountain in Mohmand district.
According to local sources, Ismail was selling cold drinks to labourers working in the mines of Ziarat Marble Mountain when he was hit by a vehicle. The accident was so severe that he died on the spot.
After the incident, an atmosphere of mourning spread in the area, while the people of the area expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of young Ismail.
Residents of the area have demanded the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, district administration, Marble Association, Transport Union and welfare institutions to provide financial assistance to the poor family of the deceased.
Locals have also demanded improved safety measures in the Ziarat Marble Mountain to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
