PESHAWAR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has dismissed a press release circulating on social media regarding the announcement date and timing of the Matric Annual Examination-I 2026 results, declaring it fake and baseless.
In a press clarification, the BISE officials said that a fake press release claiming a certain date and time of release of matriculation results was being circulated on various social media outlets. The board said that the fake press release had nothing to do with their administration.
As per the press release, the board was at present in the final process of preparing and verifying the results of students.
The board administration said that the date and time for result announcement would only be notified after completing all relevant processes. It further added that the information would be notified via the official website of the board and its social media platforms.
The board spokesman appealed to the students, parents, teachers, and educational institutions not to believe in any unauthentic news and rumours on social media.
BISE Peshawar reiterated that all authentic updates regarding the matriculation results will be issued exclusively through its official platforms.
