Acting on credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in hideouts in Mastung District, Balochistan, the Pakistan Security Forces launched Operation Al-Azm in the early hours today.

The operation involved coordinated air and ground maneuvers aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure and neutralizing hostile elements operating in the area. According to the ISPR, during the course of the operation, Security Forces effectively engaged the militants.

As a result, 15 terrorists were neutralized and 12 others sustained injuries. A large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosive material was also recovered from the hideouts.

The targeted action dealt a major blow to the terrorist network active in the region and disrupted their plans to carry out attacks against civilians and security forces.

The ISPR stated that Pakistan’s Security Forces remain fully committed to eliminating every hostile element and their facilitators from the country. Intelligence-based operations are being intensified across Balochistan to ensure lasting peace and stability.
