The violent protest against Modi government in New Delhi spread to other cities as major human rights violation reported against peaceful protesters, where sate used heavy baton charge and torture against peaceful protesters.
According to media reports, the Cockroach Janata Party’s demand for accountability from the Indian government over irregularities and paper leaks in the education system has gained momentum. Despite the worst violence by the Indian security forces, the youth are demanding the resignation of Modi, Amit Shah and Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to viral videos on social media platform X, the youth are on the streets in various states including Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Gujarat, Bihar, West Bengal.
According to the international journal Al Jazeera, Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was also detained by the police in support of the Indian youth. Various Indian political parties also protested vigorously against the arrest of the opposition leader and in favor of the students.
Opposition leader Priyanka Gandhi, exposing the worst atrocities of the Indian security forces on their own citizens, said that students are being mercilessly attacked, batons are being thrown at them and tear gas shells are being fired.
According to human rights organization Amnesty International, images emerging from youth protests prove that peaceful dissent is being suppressed in India.
