BANNU: The Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, has officially launched construction activities for the Jawan Markaz Bannu project.
The facility is being built at the Institute of Computing and Information Technology (ICIT) campus of the University of Science and Technology Bannu (USTB). It aims to provide the youth of District Bannu with modern facilities for educational, technical, social and positive engagement activities.
The required land for the project has been provided by the University of Science and Technology Bannu. The Directorate of Youth Affairs expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of USTB, _Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan_, for allocating the land for Jawan Markaz Bannu. Officials described the cooperation as a significant and commendable step toward youth development, welfare and providing them with positive opportunities.
Present at the groundbreaking ceremony were _Engineer Rehan_, Deputy Director Works; _Muhammad Zahid Khattak_, District Youth Officer Bannu; _Prof. Javed_, Coordinator ICIT Campus; and the project contractor.
During the visit, construction work was reviewed and officials reiterated their commitment to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe and as per high quality standards, so that the youth of District Bannu can benefit from the facility at the earliest.
Participants expressed hope that once completed, Jawan Markaz Bannu will serve as a modern and active center for seminars, training programs, workshops, career counseling, skill development courses and other positive activities.
Officials said the center will play a key role in polishing the talents of young people and enabling them to contribute effectively to national development.
