ISLAMABAD: Good news has come for the youth aspiring for a job in the federal capital’s police, where the last date for submitting applications for recruitment to 1712 vacant posts of various categories in Islamabad Police has been extended by one week.
According to officials, the last date for submitting applications was earlier set as July 8, 2026, however, due to the exceptional interest of the candidates and the large number of applications received, the new last date has been set as July 15, 2026.
The concerned authorities say that those candidates who were unable to submit their applications within the stipulated time for some reason have now been given another chance so that they can submit their applications on time and join the recruitment process.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also appealed to the youth in his social media message to take full advantage of this opportunity.
He said that candidates who have not yet applied for recruitment in Islamabad Police should submit their applications before the new deadline.
Mohsin Naqvi said that Islamabad Police is a modern, professional and talented force, where by serving, the youth can not only serve the country and the nation but also adopt a dignified and safe career.
It should be noted that Islamabad Police performs many important responsibilities in the federal capital, including maintaining law and order, enforcing the law, security of important government and non-government figures, protecting the lives and property of the public and dealing with emergencies.
Through this phase of recruitment, new manpower will be added to the force so that more effective and better policing facilities can be provided to the citizens.
Authorities have instructed all candidates to complete and submit their applications before July 15, 2026, to avoid last-minute hassle.
