ISLAMABAD: Toyota has announced a significant price increase for the Corolla Cross HEV, with prices rising by up to Rs1.364 million following a major increase in the applicable General Sales Tax (GST).
The price adjustment comes after the GST rate on the Corolla Cross HEV was increased from 8.5% to 25%, resulting in a substantial rise in the vehicle’s overall cost for customers.
The increased prices of the Toyota model are expected to have an impact on the demand side of hybrid crossovers, which have become famous in Pakistan due to their efficiency and economy compared with regular models.
