Artificial intelligence is set to play a bigger role in public services as a new Rs1 billion AI Authority is being set-up to modernise government operations, improve service delivery, and promote innovation in education and technology.
And that’s is the KP which is planning to establish a Rs1 billion Artificial Intelligence (AI) Authority to speed up the use of modern technology in public services, education, and governance. The initiative aims to improve government efficiency, expand the use of AI, and help the province prepare for a more technology-driven future.
In this connection, KP Information Minister Shafi Jan informed that the project is part of the provincial government’s broader plan to use digital technologies to improve public service delivery and strengthen governance.
He said making KP as a hub of modern technology is among the government’s top priorities, with several technology-focused projects included in the current financial year’s budget.
The minister said the KP Artificial Intelligence Authority will be established at a cost of Rs1 billion. It will work to promote the use of AI across government departments, make public services more efficient, support AI-based learning and research in the education sector, and encourage innovation in the province.
