The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the schedule for the CSS 2027 examination, giving aspiring civil servants the key dates for registration and exams.
According to the FPSC, the CSS examination process will begin with registration for the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT), which is compulsory for all candidates who want to appear in the CSS written examination.
Online registration for the MPT will open on August 3, 2026, and continue until August 20, 2026. The MPT will be held on September 27, 2026, at examination centres across Pakistan. Only candidates who pass the MPT will be allowed to appear in the CSS written examination.
The FPSC said the official notification for the CSS 2027 written examination will be issued on November 8, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from November 10 to November 25, 2026.
Applicants will also have to send a printed copy of their application form, along with the required academic certificates and other supporting documents, to the FPSC Headquarters by December 4, 2026.
The CSS 2027 written examination will begin on January 27, 2027. The commission has advised candidates to complete the application process before the deadlines and regularly visit the FPSC website for the latest updates, the exam syllabus, instructions, and any changes to the schedule.
The announcement gives aspiring civil servants enough time to prepare for the mandatory MPT, complete their applications, and get ready for the written examination.
