Significant changes in weather conditions are being observed in various parts of the country, including the federal capital, Islamabad. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Islamabad is expected to be hot and partly cloudy today.
The morning temperature was 26 degrees Celsius, which is above normal, and is likely to reach 34 degrees Celsius during the day. Wind speeds in the city are also anticipated to be above average, reaching about 11 kilometers per hour throughout the day.
In contrast, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may experience thundershowers after noon. Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to have partly cloudy skies with rain in some areas.
In Karachi, the weather is currently partly cloudy and humid, with the temperature recorded at 31 degrees Celsius. However, the heat index feels as high as 33 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the air is 65 percent, and winds are blowing from the west at a speed of 23 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department forecasts intermittent strong winds throughout the day, with the maximum temperature in Karachi expected to remain between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius.
