Senior PML-N leader Nawaz has voiced strong disappointment over the deteriorating condition of an unpaved road in Gilgit-Baltistan, calling out local authorities for neglecting basic infrastructure in the region.
Addressing the ceremony, Nawaz Sharif said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan live in his heart, and he does not want to speak against any party or government. Pakistan Muslim League (N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan live in his heart and he has heartfelt love for the people here.
Addressing a public gathering in Gilgit, Nawaz Sharif said that he was very happy to see the enthusiasm of the people. He said that he did not want to speak against any political party or government today, but came to express his love for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nawaz Sharif said that when he was the Prime Minister, he had visited Gilgit and Skardu many times, and he has a special attachment to this region. He said that the beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan and Skardu and the love of the people have always been close to his heart.
Referring to development issues, the former Prime Minister said that he was very sad to see the puddles on the roads in Gilgit. The Gilgit he knew is not visible today, which he regrets. He expressed his determination that the PML-N will continue to play its role in the development of Gilgit-Baltistan and public welfare.
PML-N President and former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that I do not seek votes by criticizing any party; we seek votes based on our performance. While addressing the gathering, Nawaz Sharif thanked the people and said that the love and welcome of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan have always been a source of pride for him.
