KARAK: At least thirteen family members were hospitalised after consuming poisonous drinks in the Yaghi Maskan area of district Karak on Saturday, the Rescue 1122 spokesperson said.
As soon as the Rescue 1122 control room received information about the medical emergency, rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.
According to rescue officials, the condition of all these people had deteriorated immediately after drinking the drinks.
Rescue 1122 medical teams reached the spot and provided first aid to the victims and shifted all the people to the District Headquarters hospital through ambulances.
According to hospital sources, the affected people are being provided immediate medical treatment to save their lives.
