Gold prices started increasing slightly under the influence of the global market as the price of gold per tola in the country has increased by Rs 1,000.

According to jewellers, 24-carat gold per tola in the local market has become more expensive by Rs 900 to Rs 477,162, while the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 772 to Rs 409,089. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of silver per tola has increased by Rs 26 to Rs 8,099. With an increase of $ 9 in the international market, gold per ounce has become $ 4,548.

Due to the energy crisis and crude oil prices exceeding $100 per barrel, inflation has reached 3.8% worldwide, especially in the United States. When the value of the currency falls and inflation increases, gold traditionally maintains its value. Therefore, people are buying gold to protect their savings from the effects of inflation.
