PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor Faisal Karim Kundi has approved the summary of the expansion of the provincial cabinet.
The provincial government has submitted a summary to the Governor’s House regarding the appointment of six new ministers, four advisors, and eight special assistants. This summary has been signed and formally approved by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi.
The oath-taking ceremony for the newly inducted members is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, May 17, at the Governor’s House in Peshawar. During this ceremony, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi will administer the oath of office to the new ministers.
The Chief Minister, provincial ministers, and other senior officials are also expected to attend the event.

According to senior journalist Muhammad Fahim, Chief Minister Afridi made the final decision to expand the cabinet by including a total of 18 new members.
The six new ministers are Nazir Ahmed Abbasi, Shakeel Ahmed, Muhammad Adnan Qadri, Muhammad Arif Ahmadzai, Tariq Mahmood Aryani, and the current Information Assistant, Shafiullah Jan.
Additionally, the government has appointed four new advisors to the cabinet: Pir Musawar Khan, Liaquat Ali Khan, Humayun Khan, and Mian Muhammad Umar.
Furthermore, eight new special assistants have been appointed to enhance the management of provincial affairs. They are Tariq Saeed, Muhammad Usman, Tufail Anjum, Iftikharullah Jan, Samiullah Khan, Malik Adil Iqbal, Muhammad Khurshid, and Muhammad Israr.
